The Rock!

As he climbed up the mountain he drew a shiver and placed on his gloves, the cold now bitter as he sought to find the hidden spot of yesterday's climb. The sun began to splinter throughout the early morning fog, a purple haze now shimmered softly beneath the remaining thick clouds above.

The thought of mystery had deeply sunk in as he continued to find what was waiting beyond the rock? Fumbling to remove the large pieces of rock cluttering a cove, was the discovery of a nearby entrance to a mysterious cave within.

Suddenly without warning a powerful large figure came looming from beyond. He felt a blow to his head, his vision blackened - as he drew one last breath beyond the cursed rock!

Nighttime

As I sit upon the rivers bank and watch the ripples of the lake gently drifting to the flow of the gentle breeze, a rat springs from the reeds and scurries through the wild thorn thickets along the rivers edge.

Dusk approaches, I watch the birds calling from above, travelling towards their nightly sanctuary. I bask in the peaceful unison of nature unfolding that restfully guides itself throughout the night.

Walking away I continue my journey across the wide horizon, towards a place called home.

Winter

Walking through the city strip on a cold and icy morn,
the dark winter cloak casts a somber mood upon the passing strangers.

A sudden break of wind gushes towards the trees,
lashing through the leaves.

The bitter film of cold and ice that chills the skin,
adds no comfort from the wind.

The freezing nights chase the budding birth of early flaking balls of ice,
that drift throughout the dreary glazing days of softly falling snow.

When the season thwarts against
the icy fields of snow,
the wind does blow upon the misty glow
of steeping mounds of pure white mountains.

The crystal glinting peaks,
entwined within the lonely branches
reach towards the opening sky.

There is a whisper that silently speaks,
and tells the secret of four seasons,
on the night of the full moon and tide,
that are our yearning secrets.

The Christmas Tree

Church bells were ringing on christmas eve on the night of december 24th, at the twelfth hour in a little village hidden away from the large city crowd. Far away at a house nearby pictured in the front window was a beautiful christmas tree brightly shinning with tinsel ornaments of red, green, golden and silver balls.

Small tinkling lights lit up the opening scenery with christmas tokens and a welcoming "Merry Christmas" banner, was placed high above the entrance. A soft glow began to pulse.

Walking nearby the empty quiet strip, an old and withered man caught sight of the flickering lights. He glanced a second time, and gasped when he saw a strange woman dressed in white amidst a ray of golden wings of light. A burning fire struck upon him and a vision of his life flashed by...

The old man awoke at the shiver of the early dawn and  heard voices singing in a strange and hypnotic tone that echoed eerily upon the fresh, cold, morning breeze . Without warning a radiant ray of light shone brightly upon his eyes. Life as he knew it was about to be transformed for the  old vagrant man.

On christmas day a decade later the man no longer homeless gazed upon his christmas tree in a warm and cozy home. A faint smile drew across the worn and wrinkled face as he paused and reminisced of the night of the miracle that the angel had bestowed.

Alongside the christmas tree hovering above was a blueish hue that gently gleamed as three bright stars glittered and danced around the christmas tree.

A Quarter to Twelve.

Lisa awoke from a very deep sleep. Yawning lazily, casting a glance at the old alarm clock by the bedside, she gasped at the time - a quarter to twelve.

The clock was frozen in time her head pounded and she shivered at the thought of an overwhelming sense of dread and nausea of what had happened the night before. " Oh what the hell?" she muttered. A dizzy spell took place and her eyes darted to and throw around the room.  Finally a memory, a small fragment shone through her mind of a vision that terrified her.

The last she could remember was standing outside her house staring into the bright beaming lights that glared into her soul. Fear and panic swept over her as she recalled the terror of the night before. Lifting herself off the bed and walking into the next room of her apartment she felt confused and dazed at seeing the room thrown into chaos. That was it - until everything blacked out...

Later, while lying in a hospital bed with her mother by her side comforting her, she regained consciousness and recognized the familiar faces around her. The doctor spoke and said -"She's beginning to stabilize." Her mother wept -"I should have seen it coming?" The doctor nodded and confirmed the diagnosis of a nervous breakdown. Lisa was left alone and screamed silently in her mind, "What - how can they do this?"

Throughout the night Lisa was ill with fever and appeared to be mentally unstable. Shaking and squirming within the bed the nurse administered a shot of sedatives and quietly soothed her by softly repeating, "Its ok Lisa, you are in safe hands, rest I am right here beside you."

Early hours in the night, Lisa was aroused from her sleep by a strange noise close by her bedside.  A tingling sensation welled within her. Gripped by fear, she caught sight of a wispy dark figure staring coldly into her eyes.

Terror began to rise as a voice echoed in her mind that was foreign and commanding. She listened to the words that spoke in her head -"You cannot run, you have been selected." Forcing herself to scream at the evil predator and fighting desperately Lisa could not overcome the compelling and powerful force that had invaded her. Suddenly a blackness took place. There were no further memories of the night and she was later sent home. Though somehow, Lisa had not fully recovered.

Throughout the years the lingering battle continued to haunt her mind with vivid memories of lying on a metal bed. A bright light flooded the room while Lisa remained paralysed and was physically examined against her will. The probing's and the menacing faces of the dark grey creatures filled her  with terror as she watched motionless at the large owl, tar, black eyes that engulfed her mind.

A strong sharp smell of sulphur filled the air that caused her to loose consciousness; only to awake the next day with a vague and strange memory of a dark and sinister night.

Lisa no longer dwells upon the flash scenes of the eerie dark creatures that still mask her mind and has not had any more experiences. Not since the early days back in the time that her living nightmares took place.

Although, she shudders -when she sees the face on the clock that tells the time - a quarter to twelve.

Far Away

The ghost in you, the ghost in me,
two silhouettes floating out to sea on a bed of ice.

Two frozen shadows cast at sea,
nowhere to be found, nowhere to be seen,
but two ghostly figurines, vague and drifting,
cast beneath the waves of sea.

The Final Countdown

It was post 2012 the year was 2014 the war between the Indigo rebellions and their enemies had begun. All Indigo's young and old alike were at war with the military New World Order. This was the Indigo's chance to prove their power and to reign victory of the earth. Yet, something was wrong. terribly wrong. The Powers That Be seemed to of abandoned them unmercifully. Though they had advanced technology to combat their warriors the battle was going to be more than strength to over come.

The enemies also had advanced secret technology from which they had access to from a superior evil race of aliens. Many were terrified for it was not their way of fighting war and shedding blood throughout the land. Few countries were left and many fought to survive. Underground at a nearby secret hiding base, a leader of the Indigo's who was an elder shouted above the base. "Keep low and hidden", "we are not going to make it, their drawing near the base- if a missile comes we're finished!"

Later that night when all seemed quiet a missile was launched from the enemies. Fire lit up the sky, and smoke filled the air as terror spread throughout the remaining Indigo's. The base was still safe and hidden, though time was running short. An Indigo asked- "How are we going to survive?" "Are we not supposed to be the survivors of the human race?" "Where are all our protectors?- the aliens who are our guiding allies?"

Until finally their prayers were answered, a tremendous sound boomed through the infinite sky and a large craft appeared below the secret Indigo base. The craft landed and out stepped a group of tall alien beings. The last remaining Indigo's were lifted inside of the craft. The war continued with one last nuclear blast, the planet went into chaos. The Indigo's along with their allies were taken to safety at a far away planet. Yet, the war was still not over.

There were other evil alien races who tried to conquer the earth. For the Indigo's and their peaceful brother race of aliens, their fight for peace and dominance of the earth had not been fulfilled. Once again the Indigo's were forced to come back to earth in order to fight the evil forces of aliens that had taken over the earth.

The days were filled with a stifled and ominous darkness. Fire swept across the earth as molten ash loomed heavily upon the crust. The Indigo's fought throughout the days and nights with the help of their superiors. Life itself had perished on the earth, though the Indigo's had sustenance from their allies, no one dared to stop the bloody terror and battle which claimed the many lives of many innocent indigo's.

So strong was the determination of the Indigo's to claim peace and to reign on earth. The war had continued to break out in space and missiles were fired toward the enemies planet. Many missiles back fired and much planetary destruction took place.

The force of evil was hard to defeat, fire and missiles shook through space. An echo of fire and bright coloured debris spun throughout the regions of the sphere. Meteor's clashed upon the ground and tidal waves swept over the continents. The earth was consumed in a single bound.

It was a long time before the remaining Indigo's came back to live on earth as much had been destroyed. The climate was not able to sustain any form of life not for a long time to come. As the decades past by, so had life began to spring again upon the earth. The Indigo's arrived once again with victory on their faces. Thus living happily amongst their superior race of aliens to start a new era upon planet earth.
